Forums - General - McCain VP Discussion

Sarah Palin is younger and more experienced than Barrack. She compliments Mccain well. The only problem she suffers from is obscurity.

But the electoral votes Barrack was vying for in Alaska are gone, shes has like 90% approval there.

She also has a history of intolerance of corruption, including being a whistleblower against fellow party members. So she's a female candidate that doesnt suffer from the inability to tell the truth.

And best of all... MILF. :-p

I'm not singing her, praises, just pointing out how well the Mccain campaign tought this one thru. They really have made the general election an interesting fray.

It's a shrewd move....and could get a few of the Hillary fence sitters.

it wont pull just fensce sitters. There are many Hilary supporters that are pissed Obama won and were aready planning on voting McCain. This just cemented that decision.

If women cant have a female president they can still make history by having a female VP.

Barrack Obama was trying to get Alaskan electoral votes? Why would he bother with that? What do they have? Three?

Also, one should note, she is NOT Cammie Dunaway...

Not actually the best pick of Sarah..

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

My thoughts exactly.

Stickball, your pictures of Palin look like three different people. Anyways, it's a mildly exciting choice but not one to get terribly excited over. McCain would have taken Alaska with his hands behind his back. Then again, it's pretty much a minor chice since neither Biden or Palin will help to win a state (Alaska is red and Delaware is blue and that probably won't change in this election), and the vice president has a more open work schedule than Mark Hamill. It should help McCain's image if she's very vocal in the election.

I don't like how she's so adamantly Pro-Life but I do like that she appears to hate pork-barreling.

Interesting choice.

Three electoral votes make a big difference. Barrack isnt going to win buy just winning the same states Kerry and Gore won, he has to filp states. Alaska and NC are two states I have read previously that he's working hard in.

Obama should be working to win Montana and the Dakotas then. He actually stands a decent chance in that region.
