i was just as my local walmart and i saw lost odyssey selling for $39.99, that new price should help it reach the 1 million mark now i would think.  i hope so its such a great rpg.

It doesn't suck, its a great game that was disliked for being too traditional (and having a pretty bad villain), the character development in LO is excellent.

They probably feel sorry for him and let him have a few free shots.

OT:  That sucks. I just bought it for $47.90 from some website last week. I didn't think the price would have dropped any time soon. Then Toys R Us came out with a 'Buy one get half off a second game' on all 360 games. Now this, it still shows $59.82 on the website though.

i hope at tgs they announce bd2 or lo2, and maybe show off cryon, mistwalker's newest rpg they are making.

Looks to be Walmart only "for now". They seem to do this often. I picked up Oblivion for $20 new several months back, as well as Viva Pinata for $10 about 6-8 months ago.

Hopefully it'll be a drop everywhere so others looking at the upcoming RPGs take a look at LO too.

It wasn't disliked by that many people.  Those people that did are in a minority

and gamestop still have it at $60... so I guess it's a very good deal!
