Btw, do you know if all these Sackboys are in the game at the start? :P

Nope. Not everything will be available at the start. You have to collect fluff to unlock more options for creation.

And of course, you can't just straight to creation. You have to unlock other modes by playing the tutorial stuff. (much like PAIN)

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Time to Work !

Dear God ! this game looks incredible ! and im not easily impressed, im not a big shooter fan, i've played all the good ones this gen, Never got hooked on any of them, CoD4 and Bioshock have been the Bar so far in there own Different way, but they never interested me until my friend made me try em and even then they never held my attention for me to finish them much less get hooked on them, but the effects i saw on those videos are just jaw droping and never before seen on Video Games unless i missed something on PC ( have never Gamed on that ), also the "feel" of it seems awesome, i glad to see those delays paid off.

Thanks to the poster, i was not planing on getting this game, but now its a first day buy ^^

The game looks great and you can really tell the difference between the pre-beta code used now and the old pre-alpha code from e3 and gamers day. The inclusion of bots is a big plus, i always loved to screw around offline and try new things and this will be a great way to do that.

And edge is just the biggest PoS around, their retarded nonsense just blows my mind.  Was edge also not one of those sites that faked their MGS4 review, i know eurogamer was one of them, and i thought there were two others.

Not a single person in this thread mentioned anything being the ps3's saviour until you came along.

Please, don't bring this fanboy BS into my thread.  There will be consequences.

Public beta coming soon!

From the PlayStation Blog:

Today was the first time ever that we showed the online version of the game, hands-on, to anyone outside of the SCEE family and I have to admit, it was quite nerve-wracking. We’ve worked on this online portion for over two years and putting your baby out there is not an easy thing. I am very happy to say though that today could not have gone better and we got some really good responses from all of the journalists we showed the game to.

There is something almost magic about seeing people playing the online game for the first time and more importantly, seeing them really get into it! Some of the journalists were so into the game that they almost forgot to ask questions for their articles! Lots of smiles and lots of good feedback as well.

That is another good part of today; listening to dedicated gamers and hearing what they do not like as well. We are still at a point in the project where we can change and tweak specific aspects of the game so getting this kind of feedback from our audience (even though they might be journalists ;) ) is a tremendous help to getting this project done and out the door.

One more day of Leipzig remains and then it’s onto the Public Beta which is coming soon! Getting even more feedback and putting our game to the test once more. It is a lot of work but it is also a lot of fun and I am really looking forward to getting the whole world to get a glimpse of Killzone 2 Online Multiplayer…

I don't really like shooters, but the fact that the camera shakes when you run or when you shoot, makes it seem more realistic, no? :-/

Why would people then consider that a flaw?

Why would people then consider that a flaw?

Realistic and fun to play do not have to be the same . Its a tradeoff I think
