I'm 15 amd my mom has no problem with me playing M rated games(and that includes GTA) but my mom is not your mom so if she let's you play M rated games, I think you are good to go.

I was playing Resident Evil 2 in 2nd or 3rd grade (8 or 9 years old) and it freaked the shit out of me and my friends. I think if you're a teen you ought to be able to handle it, although everyone's different.

Edit: Basically if you're less than 10 I wouldn't play it, if you're between 10 and 14 ask your parents or whatever if you're over 14 you're well old enough to make your own decision as to whether you can play it or not.

Its not that scary REmake is a whole lot more scary and thats not even that scary youll be fine

EDIT: besides, being 17 doesn't magically give you the power to withstand puking urges from playing gory games. if you are hesitant, then don't play it.

No you shouldnt, also Im 15 and I play resident evil all the time(back when it was actually scary).

I have this friend who pukes if he sees anything gross. He's 24. He's been like that his whole life. We'll be watching a scary movie that's not gross, and then suddenly somebody will be getting tortured and drilled and guts are pouring everywhere, and he vomits IMMEDIATELY. One time when we were like 9, 3 of us were hanging out at a park, and they had one of those tire swings. This 3rd kid twists all up and then lets go and spins super fast and pukes. My other friend pukes IMMEDIATELY, like before the first puke hit the ground, he was already launching it. I never laughed so hard in my life.

So if you get like the insta-gag from gore, maybe it's too gross.

But I don't think it's too scary. If it's scary, just don't play it in the middle of a large dark empty room at 4 am. I tried that with Doom 3, and it freaked the hell out of me. Play it with the lights on or something.

Well my brother completed the game when he was 15. Its not that scary I think 1 and 0 are more scary…

If you are a person that gets scared easy then no you shouldn’t play it.
