Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 are AAA titles.  Other games have alot of potential and sweeten the pot.

For 360 vs PS3 they're right here on this website.  For 360/PC you could almost guarantee that Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect (6 month timed exclusive), and GH3 sold more copies on 360.  Articles from Activision would almost certainly put sales of COD4 in favor of 360 as well.  The only uncertainties would be Bioshock & Orange Box.  I'd almost surely give Orange Box sales to PC (valve, duh, plus existing copies of standalone games separately on PC) .  Bioshock sold 77,000 copies on PC in August vs. ~500k on 360.  Granted this is only US and Europe is very PC oriented but I doubt it could close a gap that large.  Austrailian Sales charts (while not a huge market) show a similar trend with Bioshock 360 vs PC.

Halo 3, COD4, Rock Band and GH3 were going to sell regardless. Just like Madden always sells millions. Leaving Bioshock, Ass. Creed, Mass Effect, and Orange Box. Mass Effect took a couple of months to reach 1 million sales, Bioshock was released in August 2007, and Ass. Creed was a hyped "look the Xbox stole another PS3 exclusive" game.

So, I really don't see your point. I mean, it's true that there are a lot of good games (same for all platforms) but since most of them aren't from Microsoft, you can't call that their strategy...

The big exlusives for this holiday season are no different.  COD5, RB2, GH: WT, Fable 2, Gears 2, Fallout 3, Prince of Persia, etc.  These are all big titles that will probably receive big sales.  The fact is that this is the home stretch to the holiday season.  More games/systems are sold in the last 4 months then the entire rest of the year.  Of course the big games will always come during this fall-winter.  That's when people buy the most.

BTW: Mass Effect sold 1 mil it's first month in US + Others.  Go add it up right here on the site :)

Assassin's Creed no doubt sold better on 360, but COD4?! COD4 on PC is walking to 10 millions copies sold, if it hasn't already. The game is still charting in several PC top 10 charts and still reigns in DD services. If anything, COD4 PC will sell more than PS3/360 combined. It is basically doing a The Sims/WoW performance (plus DD, I might add).

Bioshock likely has sold more on 360, but the game is still selling alot on PC. It has been stated that it reached 1 million sales on PC some time ago, and is doing quite well on DD services too. So I'd say there's a decent chance it will outsell when it's all done.

Mass Effect, we don't know how it is. All we know is that it's doing well, and selling well on DD. Orange Box sold easily more than PS3/360 combined, according to Valve.

As for the rest you mentioned, it's obvious how it was.
