I think probably it's safe to say the game flops worldwide if it doesn't sell over 600,000k worldwide within the first 2 months, I doubt it will have legs.

80,000 first week
150,000 first month.
80% hardware boost for the PS3 (for the month, I think)

The weekly prediction for HSG 5 was beaten in the first day, the monthly prediction was beaten in the first week.

The first week saw 40k ish PS3 sales, the PS3 was going at a rate of 15k a week so let's say the monthly amount for that is 60k. An 80% increase in this would be a jump to 108,000 for the month. This prediction is still unbeaten, but is in danger for now.

We can see a pattern of the whole month's prediction being beaten in one week in most these cases (except CapAmerica who predicted less for the month than the game sold in a day). I only listed people who are either rabbid anti Sony or are massively off (1 week = 1 month prediction and such), people who predicted low but not insanely so, shouldn't eat crow really.
