Congrats on your win Naznatips, those wii screens look horrible in comparison to those old 360/PS3 screens.

Bah, you're right. Although the list of countries I can change it to is extensive (includes both North and South America and surrounding islands) I can't change to Europe. Guess you're basically off-the-hook Rol, although I will accept a consolation prize of you admitting I'm awesome.
It's too bad. I was even being nice (only charging each of you for a $5 game).

There's definitely more than just resolution between the two.
In the top Wii pic, Sonic has a circle shadow, but strangely in the bottom he doesn't, which is also from the Wii version.
Also in the second pic, the enemy he's fighting has a circle shadow, but his shield doesn't have a shadow.
Weird.
Why does the second screen for the 360 have Nintendo in the corner?

because it is really from the Wii

Because these were posted by Official Nintendo Magazine, which is why the bet began in the first place. Basically sega sent out a press-packet to everyone, but didn't have Wii screens ready yet, so ONM published the story using the HD screens, without mentioning that they weren't of the Wii version. Then, some people on the site thought that meant this was the Wii version, which led to the bet.

The whole bet arose because a Nintendo magazine or something used the 360 screenshots to talk about the Wii version of the game.
It's close, but I'd give this one to Naz. All four screen shots look very good to me.
I don't think I will never understand those who care about shadows.

Personally, I think the first 2 look better, but I think that is mostly due to resolution. I mean, there is some good draw distance in the last screen, and overall they look extremely good.
Based on only these screens, Naz would win because obviously the Wii version is not complete, as people have pointed out the shadows are not consistent between objects or screens. However, given the release version of the Wii versus these screens, it would probably be extremely close.
EDIT: maybe someone with a better eye for computer graphics would be able to point out more problems with the Wii version, but for me, it looks really nice from what I can tell.
