Forums - Microsoft - Gear 2 'Seriously 2.0' achievement

Not bad. Lets hope there's a way to track your kill statistics. Killing 1,000 players in MP for PD0 was/is tough when you don't know how many you've killed.

Gears shows you all your stats so I doubt it would be a problem. Also I remembertrying to keep track of everything I did in PD0 for the achievements. That's the main reason I gave up.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

How many kills did you need for Seriously 1.0? And about how many do you think would you kill in a single play through? I'm through Act 4 on the PC version and I might have killed a couple hundred. Say maybe 500 tops per run through so if it the same in Gears 2 you would need to play the game 2000 times?

Wow. I still haven't unlocked the Seriously achievement from the first game.

Does Horde mode count?

You beat me to it. If horde mode does count than 100k shouldnt be that bad considering enemies like wretches are the equality to zerglings in Starcraft.

Yeh hope Horde counts. Im delighted they got rid of them Multiplayer Achievements like that. Now multiplayer can be even funner.

Yeh the weapon achievements really took the fun out of the gameplay. If you played with random ppl chances are you were going to lose since little kids would always run around trying to pistol whip enemies or take weapons they had no business using.

so no one has an answer to my question?

@cwb

Seriously 1.0 = 10000 multiplayer kills

Seriously 2.0 = 100000 single player/co-op kills. More to encourage co-op and new Horde mode.

10,000 online kills which means no CPU kills count.
