I think the OP is questioning the site. Sales numbers are hard to track. You need to read VGChartz methodology. VGChartz uses other sources, they have sales analysis experts working on the data, they contact retailers and company for data.

If, as mrstickball says, Bionic Commando Rearmed has sold what he says it has sold, then that makes it 71,500 dowloads for the 360, which puts it inside the weekly global top 20.  That's pretty significant if you ask me.

 

 

 

Like you said, the industry is changing. Ideally these numbers are kept seperate to highlight the schism between the new and the traditional methods. Maybe your expectations are too high. From the sounds of it, everyone is doing everything they can. In fact VGChartz readers will probably be the first to get accurate numbers from this emerging distribution method.
