Video games to replace school?

Yup, it's rarely the other way around.

Well, What  the direction of the relation is?: Video games makes Smarter kids or smarter kids plays videogames.

What iam going to write is just my personal experience, and mustnt be generalized at any cost:

"I dont think there are significant correlation, i know a lot of gamers that are less inteligent than most of the people (i know what i am going to say is shit, but all of them prefer playing sports games and games like Guitar Hero.).

At the other side of the coin I and some of my friends are among the best in our respectives universities, Obtaining good national ranks in several competitions (Magament science and maths, in Mexico), with 120+ IQ , and we all are gamers at some degree. i also note that we prefer strategy, Rpg, action games. (and Sony consoles....... yeah,  dont take seriously this personal experience post, i told you)

Anyway if there are correlation is a weak one, i know a lot of others inteligent people that are not interested in Videogames.
