Forums - Gaming - Why are you against FF13 going multiplat?

I am against it going multiplat because by doing so it has spawned a number of stupid comments and threads (like this one).

Then again, I like seeing people make stupid comments. Maybe it's not all bad.

Hang on, if a game is developed on and from a single platform it is utilising all the benifits and power from that system. 9/10 times exclusive games mean better games, just look at your favorite game ratios. Mine is about the same ratio, 9/10 in favour of exclusives. The only people who win from multi plat games are the ones who will "never" own the other system.

MGS4 anyone?

Playing and finishing games first>>>>>>>>>>Then talking!

Opinions are subjective and just like moods, can change.

TOP 12: Deus Ex, Shadow Man, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturn, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Metroid Prime, Zelda (series), Uncharted (series), FF Tactics, Persona (series), Demons Souls, Vagrant Story.

MOST WANTED: Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Last Guardian, ICO/Shadow OTC HD

The delay. It just takes longer for me to get the game. 360 Fanboys don't care, they just want the ps3 fans to suffer. And also the possibility of the quality of the game being changed is present, SE said it wouldn't, but these are the same people that said it won't be coming to 360 at all in the beginning. DVD9 clearly won't be enough space in the future, it's often not enough right now. Am also against it because SE in for so long said it won't come to 360, this just breaks in trust I had in SE's words, past, present, and future.

In that case, all games are developed on PC...

yep...

I'm not against it going multi play in any way...

Because attempting to get a game like this working without the Cell means Square had to find a more sinister way to get this game to run on the 360. My guess? Fairy blood.

No. It's being developed on PC, and optimized for PS3, then once the ps3 version it will be localized for other territorries but once the Jap version is finished it will be released in Japan. ONce the PS3 localization that localized ps3 version will be ported to the 360, although the ps3 version is finished it will not be released until the 360 version is ready aswell. That's the main problem......

"Final Fantasy was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan in 1987"

So it has been multi format for many years anyway... Just as was Metal Gear Solid first on the Nintendo..

Multi-platform titles are bad news for us fan boys. We hate games being stolen by competitors. Both Nintendo and MS have taken away games that were supposed to be exclusive to Sony consoles.

i hope the delay that all of u are talking, wont cause another game's delay (yeah i mean versus!)
