Worst idea ever. That's all I'm going to say.
Pixel Art can be fun.
Though more games would come out of it, the 3 different competitors encourage competition.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
I have no idea what would result from that...
Could be good or bad, what if Nintendo was in charge of pretty much all gaming decisions and Microsoft the background chequebook?
... I can already think of problems with that idea... Large one...

Don't put merger and Microsoft in the same sentence, you just might get the very wish you don't want in actuallity. Bite your tongue.
I think the forums will have major meltdown and it will be the first time a mario game will be out on a non nintendo console.

Nintendo has 7 billion dollars in the bank and is profitable every year. They can't make enough Wii's and the DS continues to sell at an exceptional rate. There is no logical reason for such a paring. Nintendo and MS have two completely different goals and approaches to the gaming market. Such a union would would be awful for both companies marketshare. The only one that would want such a paring is Sony because the ensuing fallout might actually allow the PS3 to turn a profit this generation.

Nintendo doesn't need Microsoft. Trust me...they don't. Microsoft has respect for Nintendo and they should leave them be...they don't however have respect for Sony.
Mergers usually yield 1 good game. Original staff afraid to lose their jobs...
Then it goes to hell.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
