Forums - Sony - 160GB PS3 out in October

So they just added a new hard drive. Something that any current PS3 owner can do?

Sony is indeed weird....

they're releasing this for those people who download lots of stuff and use the ps3 as a video player.

And they gave us 70 Euros worth of downloadable content. That alone should be worth the extra 40 Euros you have to pay for this version.

Think its a good deal with 70 euro dlc.

This will definitely boost sales while it's available on the market

the real off topic question is does PSN have bugs bunny lost in time? im seriously asking hoping for a reply. i am considering getting a ps3 and that would be one of the reasons.

the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.

PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.

GOTY of 2008 is super smash brothers brawl.... hopefully.

Because new games will sell on their own.  (LBP)

Because new PS3 purchasers most likely have not played it yet.

Any word on BC, or is it officially gone now?

Price drop confirmed? I am more confident than ever we will see a $349/349euro 80gb PS3 between now and October.

Not a huge price difference, but saving $50 makes it a little more attractive
