That's just 1 store...

At any rate, it'll be interesting to see how it sells. VGC says that F1 was heavily favored in the US. I think F2 may cater more to the non-US, but English-speaking audiences.

Yup I know its just one store but its interesting anyway. New Zealand isn't Microsoft country, its Sony country. Its pretty amazing to think that a pre-order could outsell a top 5 game thats been out for more than 2 years. :)

I think that Fable 2 will not sell good at all. Almost all People I know who played the first Fable are disappointed from the game.

z101 - Yes, most people didn't like how Fable ended - too short. However, the game was very solid, and this one has been receiving massive amounts of hype for it promising to deliver what F1 missed out on.

And if the Pub Games are any indication of consumer interest, it should do rather well. I think over 3m is near assured.

Fable 2 will sell great, after all, the 360 makes it possible to realise much more than the original box...

Fable 2 will be more genuinely accepted outside of the US by percentages and it will be well accepted in the states. Gears 2 will have people wrapping around corners and sitting outside of stores for hours on its launch day in the US.

I agree with the Gears 2 part. I still don't know about Fable 2. This holiday season is pretty cramped, and its not like it has the usual ZOMG graphics or a huge fanbase to support it. I think 2-3m lifetime at best. But then again I never played the first one so I really don't know. Saying it will outsell MGS4 seems ridiculous to me though.
