Euphoria - I'm 55hrs in, and am only 75% of the way through, with lots of sidequests left.

I'll give you a hint: You always want to back track once you've completed a major line of quests. Once you get the chance to return to Nor after some events, go back ASAP and revisit the main continent to start with some major sidequests. I totally missed the uber-monster hunt because of it. Although you can always fight them, you won't get the bonuses.

There are the following sidequests available:

Warehouse Challenges (puzzle game)
Giganto Monsters (Uber-enemies with health higher than most bosses)
Casino Games
Delivery Quests
Mini-Quests (like special cutscenes/skits when you return to an area at a specific time. Hence the focus on backtracking).
Cooking

And so on. There's a lot to the game. I have maybe 60% of the skits unlocked, and it's crazy to think how many more could be available.

Would that monsteer happen to be the big bastard in Quio Woods?

Also, how early are the side quests available? Would I be able to find any yet? I have not entered Nor Harbor.

There are 9 of them.

Nice. I'll kick all their asses.

The first side quest is to met Duke at Deidon Hold after the monster attack. Did you get it?

Here is a guide

Afterwards, that nice salesman lets you keep the Battle Book. Access it in the menu to view certain battle techniques you’ve learned on your journey. Talk to him again and upgrade your current equipment. You’ll earn a lot of Gald throughout your journey, so don’t worry about being frugal when you come across an upgrade. To the left of the stall is a Save Point. Head north after saving your progress. You’ll notice a store room to the right. Remember this warehouse for a later visit. Enter the Guard Station and head up the stairs. Check the crates on the right to find Milk and an Egg. The treasure chest south of that contains an Apple Gel. Head up the ladder and to the left to meet a mysterious man checking out the scenery

I saw that guy. He vanished though. I didn't know I was supposed to do anything afterwards.

I think they should make some more JRPG on the HD consoles that look this way instead of going for that more "realistic" look.

It is always more enjoyable this way.

AMEN.

God this game is so amazing :D I JUST got the Fell Arms(Blasphemy, right? considering I've had this game for HOW long?) and I plan on grade farming for the next week. Off to reap the harvest.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

He never used that on me. He used Big Bang 5 times though, 6 if you include his first 2 forms. And yeah I'm talking about his third form. But I have another question: After i beat him I got Yuri's Abyssion sword all powered up and whatnot, but all of the others Fell Arms still bite. Do I have to beat Duke with every character to get their Fell Arms powered up?
