Number of people choosing LBP, a new franchise to boot.

 Wii: 80-85 Million end of 2009 (1.1.09)

I think Gears of War2 will be a success without a doubt. The first part sold more than 5.2 million units untill today, the 360 Userbase was about 5.3 million at the time Gears of War was released. That is quiet impressive.

As a new franchise... Left 4 Dead will be great. This will be a million seller on the Xbox360, combined with the PC Version, this might be a great success.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Good, because I think otherwise.

I'll have to agree with The Force Unleashed. That game's going to be huge, and probably spawn at least one sequel.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

Actual big success? Saleswise, Animal Crossing City Folk. With critics, Fallout 3.

Left 4 Dead (or Left 4 Awesome)
Little Big Planet
Spore

L4D is pretty understandable why, you run around killing zombies with 4 player co-op, how can that not be huge, especially when it is made by Valve and sold on Steam, if it leaves the top 3 of Steam's best seller list for the rest of the year I would be suprised.

LBP is just so fun looking that I don't see how people can not pick it up, hell people still buy remakes of the first four mario games on gba and ds.

Spore, this game should be huge, like 10+ million huge. Especially considering all the versions coming out. Slap on "From the creators of The Sims" and it will sell for a long long long time and have probably 5 expansions (hopefully one of them will allow me to keep my guy underwater and have an underwater city and what not).

Animal Crossing... it's practically made for the wii with the online features and the wii speak.

House of The Dead: Overkill
Boom Blox

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Animal Crossing will sell millions that's sure, just look at the DS numbers plus it did sell solidly on GC, sales wise Wii-music has so much potential it wont get good reviews, there will be flame on the forums. But it will sell to people that want pure entertainment and not a game. Because Wii music is fun and will be marketed well.

On: X360 Gears 2 will be big

PS3 Resistance 2 and LBP

I can't think of any game I've wanted more in the last year then Little Big Planet. Yes even more then MGS4 or anything else. It just looks insanely entertaining and is FINALLY a game I can get my wife and female friends to play. It's the first PS3 game other then things like Buzz and rhythm games that really looks like it can capture that 4 people playing together magic that the Wii supposedly has a monopoly on. The preview videos of 4 players working together through the levels look fantastic.
