I am surprised you asked this question about Killzone 2. The PS3 will have a lot of FPS/TPS on the market with (COD4, COD5, Socom, and Resistance 2). Looking at Sony's 2009 lineup, Killzone 2 isn't even in the top 3 with God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy Versus. I don't think a Killzone 2 failure will have much of an impact outside of the fanboy wars. Although, I would be very disappointed.

Kind of how 360 fanboys are saying Too Human was always meh, and they are looking forwards to GOW2 and Fable 2.

 This plus a handful of the most hardcore PS3 fanboys deny ever hyping the game to be more than mediocre. It will just be like Lair or Warhawk depending on how well it does and if the core game is actually fun.

@jankazimierz - Killzone 2 releases within the same year as GoW3, GT5, and FF13 does seem to lessen the impact of a Killzone 2 failure. Sony needed Killzone to be released in Feb. of 2008.

Too Human was considered crap before it even released. Today you don't have to hold the copy of the game to decide how good the game is. KZ2 hype and amazing next gen animations, graphics and game play will make sure that it will be success.
