Not much. I think people are expecting a lot more out of SOCOM and Resistance 2.

I give this thread a 9.5.

If Killzone 2 failed 360 fanboys would be making fun of Sony, but as long as R2, SOCOM and MAG succeded it wouldn't be a catastrophe.

It would be a major blow to the system and to Sony. Sony need this title to be a success, and to drive console sales.

The result of it's failure though: Guerrilla never again getting control of a massive multi mullion dollar project.

Then KZ2 would be like KZ1? ;-p

Depends on how you define "fail".

If fail is 3 million, then Sony would be fine.

But if fail was 500k, then it'd be pretty horrible waste of money.

Take a look at how Haze and Too Human have been dealt with on these boards and multiply that by 10. The problem with Killzone 2 is that no matter how good the game may be, someone will try to pitch it as a failure.

what is happening now but replace Too Human with Killzone 2

I don't know it looks good so I may pick it up or try out the demo, I'm actually going to pick up my 9th PS3 game today, the Bourne game; I played the demo and got sucked in by my love for the books and movies =.=; Granted it's more of a single player 3d final fight/gears of war... but gears wasn't bad soo...
