Remember a few years ago there was a game called Little Big Adventure?
Is/was this game in any way related to Little Big Planet?
Sorry if this has been asked before

Little Big Adventure came out 14 years ago. As far as I know there is no connection to LBP.
Compare and contrast.

The answer is no...
I wonder how Sony got to use the "Little Big" as part of the title. wouldn't Adeline still hold the IP on the name?

Why would they hold they IP of Little big? It's like saying Dead or alive holds the Ip of dead...That makes no sense, since there's a game called Dead rising.

but surely Little Big used together is not as common a phrase as Dead?
What if someone made a game called "The Elder Pots: Gardening" or "Leisure Suit Racing"?
Surely there's some degree of infringement here

It's actually a genuine question TYVM.
Little Big Adventure was actually a rather sizeable franchise at the time if you remember, so them using "Little Big" in their title seems to me at least to be some form of infringement.
I'm not trying to cause "fuzz" with this, I'm actually more concerned that someone from whats left of Adelife might decide to sue on grounds of trademark infringement.
