LittleBigPlanet is pretty much guaranteed to be above 85. It's a game that doesn't have any real flaws. Reviewers will nitpick at various minor annoyances such as perhaps the complexity of the popup menus, or maybe the difficulty of some levels, but other than that, most reviewers are going to find the game pretty much flawless.
I predict that it will have an average score between 90 and 95. Most reviewers will award it 10s and 9s with a fair bunch also giving it 8s. One or two sites may give it below an 8, but nobody will give LittleBigPlanet below a 7.
I'd expect it have average around high 8:s/low 9:s.
Some will praise it for being so hardcore it will appeal to casual and some will deduct points for it being too casual.

Between 90% and 95%. It's gonna put a shit load of smiles on the reviewers faces that's for sure. Really good vibe from LBP right accross the board, can't wait!

The thing about little big planet is that its hyped by the reviewers not only the sony fans. I havent read one bad preview of this game so far ,so i would be surprised to see the game below 90.
I'd say 85%, just because the game doesn't seem to appeal to everyone. Hardcore reviewers might frown on it. Also, there might be random flaws that people pick on (I think there's been buzz that making something is kind of complicated).

i agree.

yes this pretty much sums it up.

Not that I think it will turn out the same way, but there were tons of people who were saying that Lair had only received glowing previews without any talk of flaws before it was released ... Game previews are always amazingly optimistic in part because harsh previewers don't get the opportunity to preview games in the future, and partially because you only get to play a (very) tiny portion of the game that has been purposefully choosen because it will demo well and is then polished to an unusually high level.
I'm not saying it is, but there is the possibility that Little Big Planet could be one of those games that previews really well ... If you've ever downloaded a physics demo for something like fluid dynamics, the 'playground' effect makes it really interesting to try a lot of things for 10 or 20 minutes; a couple hours into the game the 'playground' effect will have (likely) worn off and the game will run the risk of getting very stale.
