Yes another unassuming consumer completely convinced that lesser systems are completely obsolete in the path of the monumental blu-ray format and the power of the cell processing cpu unit 9000.

Glory be to an Internet that spawns such avid consumer advocates. Those which give nothing short of pure, righteous indignant opinions on subjects of consumer electronics, without a hint of the ever-growing cloud of bias surrounding the entheusiasts press and supplicant commentators.

You are absolutely right, the Sony consoles are the only worthy players in the medium of interactive video-gaming. No one, knowing all the facts, would jip themselves by purchasing a Wii or a 360, when the PS3 is such a moderately priced piece of future-proof masculinity. It boggles the mind how Sony can afford to sell it for under a thousands United States Dollars.

TC, to me, you are a hero of the Internet, and I salute you. Your posting history, to me, reads like Robert Frost.

And your posting history to me reads like something I can't mention or else I would get banned for insulting people again.  Seriously, have you ever posted anything positive about Sony? or in a Sony thread?  even though I can't remember if you ever have, you always show up saying anti Sony stuff or insulting pro Sony people (there is a difference between a pro Sony person and a Sony fanboy btw).  Your history with all the bans tells me that the mods might agree with me a bit.

This is all, I have to say.

BTW: I never knew something that should be a blog is allowed to be a thread.

I honestly don't mind Zen at all, though he is certainly no Ace (especially in terms of avatar quality).  He clearly has taken a community college writing course and wishes to share his newfound craft with all of us mere mortals.  I applaud his efforts and wish him luck in his post graduation application to the high school newspaper.

Yes there is a difference between a fan and a trolling fanboy and if you think this thread doesn't lean quite heavily on the fanboy side...you may want to re-examine your definition of each.

I honestly love JRPGs and am keeping the faith that the PS will pick up the slack as it gets better market penetration. Already the one JRPG for the 360 I really wanted to play is on its way to the PS3 (Eternal Sonata) and I have a feeling Tales will follow suit soon enough (ditto for Star Ocean 4). As for the 360 only RPGs like Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey someone already beat me to a picture that would best describe their relative merits. I tried to get into the 360 JRPGs but to be honest I've found the strongest JRPGs of the past years to be on the PS2. Anyone who likes JRPGs and hasn't played Persona 3 (and soon 4) is doing a disservice to themselves.

Yes I did try both Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey as rentals, Blue Dragon was almost unplayably innane and to describe Odyssey as "stilted" would be giving it too much credit.  The animation alone was the worst I've seen this side of clay animated stop motion featuretes.

Would it not be wise to at least wait for Infinate Undiscovery and TOV to come and pass before you sell your Xbox360? I think you should at least rent them to see if they are of interest to you. Its not too long in the future, and if you only intend to play the games once anyway its no loss to play and enjoy them and then discard your Xbox360 if you feel that way.

Classic.  Just really great stuff.  You're at the top of your game Zen.

Thank you, sir and everyone who found my last post amusing. I try. I've greatfully accepted your friend request, and I look forward to debating with and against you in the future. My posts should always be taken seriously, but never personally, and if I "flame" you one day, never think that I don't consider you a friend and equal, with a few exceptions. This topic, for example.

I don't think you've "made it" as a member of Vgchartz if you haven't either 'flamed' Zenfolder or had an 'argument' with him.

Im still not worthy, but maybe someday I will get that honor.

pardon my french but...your an ASS. Hoping that a company hits the road just so another can become dominant over everything, not even giving a rats *** whether or not the fans care?

And interesting that yur say the 360 is a PS3 imitation despite it coming out 2 years earlier.

there are no pictures to describe this type of failure. Just one more person whose opinion I shoudln't respect. Obieslut's opinion is 3 times as good.

You're right. I think it takes a video:

Dude, I laughed my ass off at that.  Thank you.

same with me

I wouldn't mind playing those but none of them strike me as must haves.  I would rather play Disgea in the upcoming months then any of those TBH.  It would take something like FFXIII going 360 exclusive to get me to reconsider.  Games like the Tales series are games I've long had access to (on the PS2) but kind of neglected anyway even in the last generation due to superior options.  Namco Bandai is just no Atlus when it comes to JRPGs in my experience.

I can't remember if I have been 'flamed' or been in an argument with Zen.

I've always wondered, how DO you avoid being called a fanboy?  Is owning all systems in question from release, playing (and owning) at least 10 games for each system (the best exclusives) and judging their merits not sufficient?  I used all three systems, owned them all for over a year and found two out of three lacking for different reasons.  The Wii I would consider rebuying if something changes next year, I sold it for lack of near future prospects not lack of prospects for all time (why hold on to something if you're not going to use it for the next year?) but the 360 I have been roundly disapointed by over and over.  Yes I bought an Xbox too and played its best games when it was heavily discounted on the runup to the 360.  If you play all of a consoles best games (including Halo 3, Gears of War, Viva Pinata ect) and try everything that suposedly makes it better and find it worse how does that make you horridly biased?

I tried both and the PS3 is better then the 360 in every single way from better exclusives to better graphics in exclusive games to great free online to Blu ray playback to network capacity to playing divx movies from the hard drive ect ect.   If something IS better in every way and you say so after trying both you are a impartial person who makes a choice between two options.  How does choosing the PS3 as my vastly superior option make me some blind fanboy?

I like the PS3 most because it is the best console in features I want (I want a quality HD device),  I would have no qualms about switching if it was otherwise.  I switched from Nintendo exclusive to Sony in the N64 generation when the N64 couldn't handle the games I wanted to play (notably FFVII) and would switch from Sony if they were not the best option.  They ARE the best option however for at least the rest of this generation unless you can give me a single 360 feature (and don't use games I can also play on my gaming PC) that is superior to the PS3.  I can think of 20 PS3 features that are superior to the 360 off the top of my head from using both.
