Well I wouldn't say american football is totally a pile crap ;) though I only like college american football not a fan of NFL anymore
But to agree with Ilovexbox360 shouldn't the question be why is football the most popular sport in the world?

Yes.. rubbish when you put them together in one team... I'm sorry but it's the truth... England lacks a creative player like Sneijder, Deco or Bergkamp... and a second striker.. and why does England don't have a decent Goalkeeper??? I mean van der Sar, Chech, Reina, Almunia, Gomes.. al foreigners! And no David James isn't decent.. |
because if they had one they would be the dream team ?????
u don't have to own all the good player to win
wasn't sneijder in holland team in euro 2008 ? with an excellent goal keeper? with the best -imo- striker van rod vannist?
england always play well but no luck -italy is the opposite, italy forever ;)-
England palyed very very good in 2006 cup and euro 2004 but again no luck
rubbish is very very unfair word to use -except for the goalkeeper u can call him whatever u want ;)-

some magical power

I could put together a better England squad than Mclaren did and Fabio Capello has yet to impress me. so many players are overlooked on the England squad consistently.
Half the time I blame the England managers, they don't have a wide scope of players and tactics they think they can choose when the reality is very different. From one team alone (Aston Villa) I can name 12 players that all deserve a spot in the England team but are constantly overlooked...
Nigel reo-Coker
Garreth barry
Gabriel Agbonlahor
Luke Young
Steve Sidwell
Ashley Young
Marlon Harewood
Curtis Davies
Zat Knight
Wayne Routledge
Nicky Shorey
Craig garderner
stuart taylor
Where as Arsenal only have 2 or 3 english players... Aston villa have some that are considerably worthy of the Arsenal first team
England also has a lot of talent we just don't nourish. I mean look at when wimbledon went into receivership and broke up. All the premiership clubs have ended up with some great players such as Nigel Reo-coker, Jobi McAnuff, Mikael leigterwood, that were second division at the time. The only reason they brought them because they were going cheap.

Really? Did you see the game against Trinidad & Tobago? England sucked. By the way 15 golds for Britain in Olympics, our cycling team are now deemed too good, fantastic but we must keep this up.
