No it didn't.  The report says they get more revenue on the HD systems (not surprising) and overall they lost money.  I find it hard to believe it was the Wii losing the money, either.

i think THQ was pretty succesive, or at least made more/lost less on the wii and DS than the other systems.

in terms of quality i think capcom is showing itself to be the best.

To answer the titular question, they're certainly up there when it comes to the Wii. Actually, I've been very impressed with EA for the last two years on most systems (PSP excluded): they've been bringing us good new stuff, and even their traditional games have been seeing some effort put into them. In short, Riticello is my hero (but not so much so that I'll ever learn to spell his name properly).

Well EA invested heavily into development on the PS3 and they werent succesful. They clearly shifted some of that attention to the Wii bringing some good games, and slowly incrasing the numbers which is great news, i'm pretty sure i will be buying madden next week.

Still my favorite 3rd party on the Wii is Capcom  they do like to port some old stuff but at least most of their games are v. good and more coming. Plus i hope that love will bring RE5 to the Wii :)

ps. Didn't EA become distributor of Grasshopper games as well? Hopefully stuff like NMH will get better marketing in the future.

I dont know, they make great games, and they have over hauled their attitude inside the studio. How much have you heard about Dead Space officially? Critics are raving about it, and it is made by EA themselves, not an in house developer and its coming out in a little over a month.

Activision is the company that whores their products, do a google search for Guitar Hero Cereal.

I think EA have changed after their competitors Activision and Ninty have more profits on the Wii than them, thats why they push more quality softwares on the Wii, which is very good to us because we see more quality games made by 3rd parties.

And yeah, they have more profits on 360 its given, EA have support on the 360 from the start, the Ps3 I have doubts, I think any western 3rd parties have no good profits on the PS3, more so on japanese 3rd parties. Just ask Square Enix...

Well if EA would put more time into there games it would sell 3 times better. I mean madden for instant if they took a year off and redid the whole game, then I know it would be so much better
