So, my sister loves guitar hero. I got GHIII for ps3 and the ps3 is in my room so she can't play it whenever she wants, though most times i'm not busy and i let her play and we have a nice talk and play it.

Now my sister is asking for rockband. In my house there's the ps3 in my room and the Wii in the living room. My room is filled with stuff but i can find room for rockband, and the living room got plenty of space. So i heard my dad wants to but rockband for the wii now, though i can still call him and make his mind.

I heard rockband for wii is a crappy port and there's rockband 2 coming, which comes with a electric drumset right? My sister really wants this electric drumset because we can't get a real drumset :P

So the options are:

- Wait for rockband 2 ( we still don't know if the wii will have a good port, though the most important for waiting is the drumset)

- Get rockband Wii ( this one i'll have to argue with him and my sister, but i guess he'll understand the crappy port thing)

- Get rockband PS3

- Get rockband Wii or PS3 and wait for rockband 2 and get it with the electric drumset only ( Well, this may take a little monetary help from me and my sister but i guess we can afford it, though the plastic drums from RB1 will be left away, or maybe it'll be used to play while we separate the electric drumset to really learn how to really play drums, which is a thing she wants for a long time, i play enough instruments already but i guess it won't hurt to learn drums when i have time =D )

So people, what do you say?

Why don't you save up your allowance and buy it yourself.

it's not your fault Rockband ported the game badly..they decided not to put DLC for the Wii

I'm pretty sure DLC will be available in RB2 Wii...since GHIII Wii has it..I think...

anyway...do whatever you see fit..

why not put the PS3 in the living room?...

most of the problems will be gone..

@ deathcape - Nobody else plays the PS3, also, it's convenient to have it in my room :), i don't know if i'll move it for rockband only. And thanks for the tip, i really hope RB2 for Wii is a good game like it deserve to be.

DO NOT i repeat DO NOT buy Rockband 1 on Wii. It is a terrible dumbed down port.

Either wait for Guitar Hero WT or Rockband 2, both of which are fully featured.

Main reason for getting rockband 2 instead of world tour is the drum lessons and the electric drumset. Does world tour have them?

World Tour has the exact same instruments as Rock Band, and a song creator, so I'd personally get that (and the Wii version does have DLC).

Yeah World Tour is much better for the money plus has online, DLC, and song creator much better for your money.
