Uh...by just looking at Conker and comparing them to SMG you can tell SMG has more detail which makes it more impressive.

wow you are really a hard head, it looks close to smg even if you don't admit it,

from the shades on conker helmet to so details

yes smg is abit better but not alot better.

Instead of arguing why don't we just have a little vote. How many Wii owners here would like to play Unreal Tournament 3 with downgraded graphics, physics, potentially number of players online decreased and friend codes on the Wii?

Who says it would have friends codes? EA got around that. And pretending their is no advantage, the greater control, is just as big a lie as Epic was saying.

But would you like to play it? Also... the control issue there is all about opinion. But lets assume the motion controls kick ass and they have great cube controller support. Let's even pretend it has great dedicated servers and no friend codes. Would you buy it?

Yes

See...you're comparing Wii games to an HD game to make it somehow inferior. You completely forget about gameplay, and as Lord said they'd get around the FCs, but who wants UT3? Instead, they should make a new exclusive IP on the Wii. Something that won't be o nthe PS3 or 360 so it doesn't get compared. Give it amazing graphics, good gameplay, and proper marketing and we may see a success.

LOL, even if it was a new IP it would still be an Epic style game. It would still be a shooter like gears or UT. I didn't forget about gameplay. You know many PS3 and 360 owners actually like graphics and gameplay at the same time :P

Yes

Epic can afford to deny the Wii. They are making money off of the Unreal engine as well as gears and years of successful Unreal games. The Wii isn't a system that they have the choice to deny. Deal with it. I dont find them to be assholes at all.

to Epic no matter how hard they try with the hardware of the Wii the game will still not be up to the standards that they are used to graphically. they will try to do so much on the Wii that can not be done with the system.

I know this isn't directed at me, but please stop trying to prove a point with hypothetical situations. We won't know how an Epic game would sell on the Wii until it happens. LordTheNightKnight isn't every Wii owner.

Give it a rest.

I for one still wouldn't but it. The controls make it tempting, but the gameplay is 'bleh.' That's just me.

but the problem with that is that epic does two things which at abre minimum require good consoles and regular controllers: extremely detailed, dark, high quality graphics and nearly frame perfect games.  im sorry but the wii just doesnt do that so well.

epic makes money by having their games sell their engine.  that will work best on the hd consoles.

I'll give it a rest. But for the record, we are on 3 for 3 with a no on the buying the game :)

It's just a bit strange how Wii people seem to love to hate Epic for giving their opinion when asked for it. It seems saying the WIi is the saviour of gaming is the only answer which won't get a developer insulted around here. If people hate Epic so much then perhaps they should just ignore them. Just a suggestion.

I don't hate Epic. I hate their attitude towards the Wii. If they made a game that interested me, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Their mentality is stupid. Honestly, it is.

What if someone went around saying, "I'll never be a marathon runner. I've never run a long distance." Sounds dumb, right?

I would buy a Gears game with that control, but as it's likely staying exclusive, that's a moot point. But I might buy a game like that on the Wii.

But users here are still not proof, which is my point.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
