Neg, Eternal Sonata and Lost Odessy. Both highly mediocre. Im not talking about games that have yet to be released, thats something fanbois do.

 

Just because Lost Odyssey doesn't revolutionize the genre does not make it mediocre

lost odyssey was good,but gameplay it had too much things in common in ffx (there is even a monster that looks like elementals of ffx)

that made it look generic, it was good, but many people felt it was pretty much of the same.

for me only storyline puts them different.

ugh. that game looks and sounds like crap. Of course, I really don't like RPGs that much, so that's definitely influencing the way I look at it. Still, the graphics look about the same as your average 2007 PS2 game to me.



Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

Any reason you then, feel the need to bash a type of game you don't like?

And what 2007 PS2 games are you thinking of that are comparible to IU? The closest comparison I can think of is FFXII, although it's an '06 game:

Now, why is it these gamers are allowed to openly bash a game that is not for a system that they own, or plan to own? I'm not saying that you should never post here, but at the same time: Should you really question why we wonder about your biases, when it's pretty clear you don't give a crap about the X360?

When was I bashing the game? i wasn't at all... in one post I was asking whether I was gonna see it on the PS3, and in the second I told some guy who bashed it not to bitch about it since it looks good. I didn't bash it at all.

 

Maybe it's because with some Xbox fanboys, you have to be "TOTALLY XBOX" to NOT be labeled as a fanboy especially since you own a PS2 and PS3.  For some people, the game shows promise while for some it just doesn't.  And both viewpoints can be very legit before the game is released.  Just because a person praises a game that's released or not doesn't mean that person is a fanboy of the system it's on.  And just because the person thinks the game isn't appealing doesn't mean he's bashing and is a fanboy of a competing console.  Some of the PlayStation fanboys might have been exposed here, BUT the Xbox fanboys have also been exposed by not willing to accept a non-positive opinion of IU.
