VP3 would probably do better on the Wii than on HD consoles. SO4 is fine on HD consoles because SO is one of the bigger JRPG series

I see the Tales series has spoiled you rotten. LO has enough gameplay hours already, so why sacrafice the story for the sake of gameplay? |
Well he is a Tales fanboy. I kid, I kid .... kinda.
I hope a new one is on the way. The first was really cool, but I never finished it. Im on the 4th or 5th chapter of the first.

SO3's cutscenes were very good considering when the game originally came out. A few awkward pauses is not that bad considering it was more likely the fault of the fact that the game was originally in Japanese |
My problem isn't the awkward pauses or anything like that. It's more along the lines of "Why do we need a cutscene for this?" Xenosaga used cutscenes to do things it couldn't do without them. To me, it felt like Star Ocean III used cutscenes for the sake of using them at times.

S-E have already broken into the US market 11 years ago when FFVII came out. They just want more money from the West.

Developer... not publisher.
VP games are developed by Tri-Ace... SE only publishes them.
Tri-Ace has shown the love to the 360.

Eh I don't care about graphics if they don't get in the way of gameplay. The thing that I liked about Xenosaga was that FMVs were used well and consistently rather than poorly and sporadically.

The graphics were meh in Xenosaga? Didn't reviewers say that the graphics were FF-calibur when it came out back in 2002(2003 in the US)?

I don't know if Soriku played it in that time frame.
The only thing that stood out to me was that the environments were pretty drab but even that is more in the way of art direction than graphics IMO.
