What is the next major Japanese release for 360? I do believe a couple more jrpg's are scheduled for release this year.

What is the next major Japanese release for PS3.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

well good job for xbox, the release of tles has helped it but it will go back down soon. sony is heavily promoting its upcoming games in japan also.

looks like there are still som users who claim doom on ps3 lol

it will be interesting to see sales of eternal sonata for ps3 and white knight chronicles is nearly around the corner mabey march, i predict things will turn out better for ps3 in japan.

360 still has 2 more rpg`s out in japan in last remnant and infinite discovery both will give 360 a little bump, but after that it will go back to normal.

this should be a lesson to jsce to invest in japanese games for ps3



...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

The real question to be answered is what is "normal" for the 360 in Japan?

For the last couple of months the 360 weekly numbers have continued to improve. If I recall correctly the week before ToV the 360 was at 6,000.

Will ToV release and anticipation of a couple other JRPGs continue the improvement week over week.

sold out with what? 24k that they had for the month.

 

sold out it relative to the shipped units.

if they nintendo shipped 500k and they sold out in the week, its impressing.

not 24k.

You have no idea what you are talking about.  Japan didn't sell out of the 360 completely.

the problem is that microsofts profitabillity in that region will always be limited by the fact handhelds are way more popular

I wouldn't be surprised to see 360 numbers very low next week as it is out of stock at the places I checked out.

well I can't wait to see what next week's sales will be like.

I still say they need another DOA Extreme Beach Vollyball for 360. That will boost sales in Japan.
