Why do PS3 and 360 owners always fight?

Except...the Wii and the HD consoles aren't providing the same exact things. Call me back when the Wii has the same level graphics, 1080p, same exact online, and the same exact games and then we'll talk.

I dont need to, at all. If you want to pledge right now to never compair the Wii, a Wii game or a Wii application to a PS360 Hardware, Game or Application then I will let this drop.

But you wont, and if you did you would never follow it, because Wii fans do compair their console to the HD consoles. And in annoying fanboy fighting ways.

And if we are going to go your path, then why do Wii owners point out how much better they are selling then the HD consoles, by your logic that would be like Suzuki touting how they are outselling Ford F-150s with their Motorcycles. Apples to oranges.

I've never done that at all :P So we're cool...I guess.

As for the second bolded...well, I do it because more sales = better third party support. Only reason I do. Ask the others why they do it, not me. Or am I now a speaker of the Wii fan community?

Thats ok that you dont do that, but you are saying that there is no reason for this thread to include Wii owners not You.

Or do you want to say that Fishey or TresTres or other Wii fans dont do this either?

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

Well, there's a LOT of hypocrisy from Nintendo fans, you could start there. Or you could point out how pathetic the whole "Ubisoft Boycott" was. Or you could compare the attitude they had in the 5th and 6th generation with what they have now. You could point out the pretentious and smug attitudes, or the pseudo-intellectualism if you're up for it.

Hopefully that can get your creative juices flowing.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

We could also talk about hypocrisy over Ubisoft developed and published games, even though the games that Ubisoft publishes makes them tons of money.

The pretentious and elite attitudes also deserve four or five paragraphs.

The attitude change (For the worse) that's happened after two generations of losses.

The hate a developer gets for making a casual game on the Wii knowing it will be an excellent Return on investment, and the hypocrisy that ensues when Wii owners try to say that Game X on the PS360 should be on a Wii because of profits when that's the reason that Developer X puts party games on the Wii, easy profit.

Like Monti said, a lot of it would have to do with hypocrisy.

The reason why 360 owners and PS3 owners fight is because. They fail to realize that each console has it fair exclusives and they get jealous because their favorite console doesn't have what the other console has. So jealously kicks into the war, and flaming and immaturity begins to rise. And ban hammers are delivered by the mods.

I for one, could care less. I own all three and love all three equal. Each provide me with a different experience.

Hell if I was to choose only one console this generation. It would of been the Xbox 360. Since I have way more games on that console than the other two consoles combined.

That is my reasoning and from a sales perspective. The reason 360 and PS3 owners fight is because. The sales for both constantly go high and low through the weeks. And both console owners hate to see one week the PS3 wins and then the following week the Xbox 360 wins.

It's a gimmick in it's on gimmick, which is sad. But having console wars over the internet is awesome. And the forums would be dead if their wasn't such a thing. Right?
