I also got a psp two weeks ago, the slim and lite that is... Currently playing Crisis Core and i can absolutely recommend that game!

Anybody here any tips on modding the slim? (already purchased a pandora but don't know exactly how yet)

I love Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron but I used to play that competitively on PC which is why I like it so much on a handheld.

FF7: Crisis Core
R&C: Size Matters (try to find it cheap cause its short)
FF Tactics War of the Lions
Ace Combat zero is fun
Naruto Heroes 2 is great I'm playing that now
Crazy Taxi is a good choice if you find it cheap as its both original games on one UMD
MGS: Portable Ops
and above all else Monster Hunter Freedom 2

like others it depends on what you like, i also just recently came around a good deal on a used psp from a friend for $100 with games and movies

the games that i have gotten around to buying that i can recommend would be

daxter
ff tactics
ff crisis core
sf alpha 3

these are the ones i currently spend my time but i heard good things of j'eanne arc which is on order and locoroco which i intend to buy soon. i heard good things of socom also so that was just also bought.
