Man, I can't wait till I my gaming piggy bank fills up, so I can buy a 360.  I want Braid.

I love how everyone freaks out when Wii doesn't outsell the other consoles combined.

hehe, so people are either playing Braid or working to save up to play Braid...

Wii outselling both just became a normal thing, I'm kinda surprised too.

But what other explanation can there be, its either supply constrained (stockpiling or just not sending over to US enough) or a slow week for it.

A lot of analysts have said retailers are stock piling Wii's for the holidays. I'd say it's a bit early for that but who knows.

Wow, 360 sucked big time.

360's price drop affect is wearing out... but it still mite actually out sell the ps3.... from what I understand the 360 saw some major sales in japan... am wondering if it was enough.....

Well, ToV should help the 360 out for one last week.

Cant understand Nintendo - this is the time they should be really driving on with both the Wii and wii Fit yet they seem to be stockpiling (if thats what it is) a seriously high number of units right now.

I just hope this doesn't backfire as right now demand is sky high with Wii Fit still selling out along with the Wii being in huge demand but nintendo have announced no new Ninty games this fall. They'll also be a better value PS3 with LBP, Buzz and a few other casuals available along with a cheaper 360 with new casual front avatars being touted everywhere.

I doubt they would stockpile any units. A unit sold now is better than one sold in 3 months time.

so how are Wii only selling around 400,000 units a week so far in August - bearing in mind they upped production from July so around now we should surely be seeing more units shipped as a result of that increase.
