To me, Final Fantasy 7 looks like shit (except for the cutscenes), but the first Spyro is beautiful. Depends on the game.

As long as the game is good, I can play a PS1 game. I could care less about the graphics if the gameplay is "engaging".

NOPE, I beat MGS1 again last month....STILL AWESOME NO MATTER THE graphics.

^_^
I only play PS1 games on my PSP after SCEI releasing them on PSN.
For PS2 games, I only play those supporting progressive scan (480p) on my PS3.

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

Not really. Chrono Cross's visual design still looks good. Castlevania:SoTN also comtinues to impress. FFVII on the other hand, hasn't aged very well in terms of grpahics
Could just be me, but many PS1 games just look awful. It's like they made the jump to 3D too early (not all PS1 games, but most look pretty horrible). I prefer the late SNES games' graphics, honestly... N64 graphics aren't as bad though.
It doesn't stop me from playing the games, but it does bother me. Some of the horrible loading times can really hurt, though (FF9).
Oh yeah I started noticing that about PS1 graphics somewhere close to the end of the last gen. At this point, I will only play PS1 games on PSP cause they still look pretty pro. PS2 games are not that bad though.
