Kobe and the Lakers are my fav. team. but oddly enough, I don't mind the Celtics.

I mean it is kind of hard to respect Paul Pierce after that fake injury.
That, and the fact that he thinks he is better than Kobe. (he said this in press conference)

This next year will be more interesting. With Bynum at the center and Gasol at the Power forward, I welcome any challengers.

But I agree, Garnett deserves the cover and the championship.

I am still undecided whether or not I will buy it. I have 2k8, will have to wait for the details on what is new in 09.

I'm going to buy NBA Live 09. If the games have the same release date as they did for the 2008 games here in Japan then it's a sure bet for me. Live 08 came out about 1 month after the US release date(late 2007) and NBA 2K8 came out last week!!!! Yes, just last week it came out for the 360!!!WTF is that!!!

edit: I'm also a big Spurs fan, so Tony Parker being on the cover of Live 08 makes me want to buy it more, even though 2K9 will most likely be the better game.

QFT! especially the bolded. Hey, how do ya play, in terms of game speed? I can't play that slow so I always put it to 75 game speed, can't play online because of that.

I play at 52 speed. I don't play in the 2K camera view either.

NBA 09: The Inside is going to be much better. 1080p, 60fps, three The Life modes, new and improved franchise mode, and online leagues.

I will think about buying it, but I have to see how they rate it for the Wii. The last one really really sucked. The controls and graphics were no were near as good as they could of been if they put more effort into it. So I will wait and see
