Forums - Nintendo - Convince me that MP3 is a bad game

It's crap cause now i can't play shooters without IR anymore. It ruined call of duty 4

Glad I'm not the only one that feels frsutrated going back to standard controlled FPS style games.    Aiming without IR just feels archaic.

It just doesn't live up to the level and artistic design of MP 1

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I find that when I played it for a while that my arms got tired.

and well it does seem to fall short of the glory of the old days where you were open to explore stuff rather than playing scriptedly, at least in the beginning anyway. Guitar Hero III stole a lot of possible play time from it.

It's so good, it's bad.

As much as I'm raking my brain to remember (beat it a few months ago) I can't remember what fetch quest you are talking about. The only spot which I can see being a fetch quest was the Valkyrie, but I had found enough to get the codes when I got there to begin with, got the rest while I was picking up all those damn white dots all over the map to get me the 100%.

Even though it was not inovative as much as the first one, and it did lack a variety of beams (I loved the original 4) and super missiles (loved those combos as well). It's still the best MP out of all 3. Story got tied up nicely, you got to see more environments than in any other game, even if some where 20 minutes long (ice place). And the controls are the best controls on a console for controlling a First Person game that involves shooting, my second choice after the mouse. I'd give it a 10/10 if it wasn't for the very easy final boss. I was honestly expecting something huge and epic to kill to end the Metroid Prime series, instead the boss was a simple, dodge and shoot the red dot, type of boss. Original Metroid Prime is still the hardest Metroid Prime boss.

It's on Wii, what did you expect?

A good game??

My former account was HeSSeH, but I lost it.

This game sounds so bad, I really want to play through it again.

RolStoppable likes it. Boy, that was easy.

Needless to say I played it 10 hours straight. Amazing game and freaking sweet graphics for a Wii lol. I hope MP4 is in development already because I know I will need more Metroid once I'm done with MP3.

I know that you guys will recommend me getting the older versions but I won't. Games are best played at their time not years after. You may enjoy the older versions but that's because you played them at their time and now your remembering your initial feeling.

There's no MP4, the prime trilogy is complete. We don't know where the metroid franchise is heading next. You really have to play the first two primes on the Gamecube, although you won't like the gamepad controls now that you've played with the remote. You should definitely try Super metroid. Sure, it's old but it has aged very well and I'm sure you will enjoy it. I had to convince a friend of mine to play it, a few months ago. He really liked it.

I couldn't get into it. I tried but at the least the very beginning felt like i was playing every other fps in the world. I didn't feel like playing through an hour of every fps in the world to get to some fun adventuring.

I hated having to grab, twist and pull to unlock the doors because , the controls never seemed to register me pulling or pushing the lock correctly. Just like in Trauma Center how when you had to place the controller and nun-chuck forward to use defibrillator never seemed to register correctly.

If you have a gameboy advance you owe it to yourself try Metroid: Fusion and Zero Mission.
