I think that's what they mean by looking at how it sells on PS3/Xbox360. If SF4 doesn't sell so good, it won't come on the Wii for sure.

These won't technically be ports. They will actually be remakes made to look like ports, just like RE4 on the PS2, which had to have the graphics almost completely redrawn to fit on the system (Capcom actually said they did that in an article in the old OPM).



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Resident Evil 5 and Dead Rising 2. Let's make it happen, Capcom!

Street Fighter IV is a likely target along with RE5 at this point. Dead Rising 2 will depend on Dead Rising 1 sales on the Wii, Flock is a hit or miss, Lost Planet maybe with the movie coming up, and DMC and Dark Void are probably a no go for Wii.

 So a SF IV would sell ~ 1M? That's not necessarily bad, considering the far lower production cost.

The only reason i would buy a ps3/360 is for RE5. Of Course, if it came to my Wii, i wont buy any of both consoles.

Should Capcom actually solely develop for the Ps360 they at this point probably have the software resources to support that idea... though it would still be a gamble and would lower profit but increase revenue.

RE5 and SFIV are the most likely. RE5 because of the succes of previous RE games on the Wii and SFIV because Capcom has hinted that that game could come to the Wii.

In other words, give it to the Wii after the PS3/360 versions have taken majority of the sales? Great thinking Capcom. I didn't see this happen to the PS2 last gen.
