What does Iraq has to do with this? Kasz pointed me out how bloody and violent Russias methods are and I showed him that the allmighty USA is no different.

And no I dont have any issues with forced unification if in the historic long-run we would mostly benefit from it, and TNH IMO the only thing that could clear this Osetian-Georgian issues is if it would be united with Russia. A real power, a real solution ( OK, that last one might sound a little crazy I know :P ).

And most importantly, shouldn't the Georgians have a say in this?

 

No he's Hungarian/Romanian and wants Russia to gain back all it's USSR territory under a corrupt despotic government.

Why he thinks this is a good idea i've yet to see. I think it's just because he hates the west.

Also, as bad as Iraq was. (Afghanistan did have reasons... Oil wasn't one of them.)

At least we didn't attack a democratic country ruled by the people.

The key difference being that my opinion doesn't involve the advocacy of the slaughter and domination of an entire nation of people under a government and people they despise.

If you don't believe "the west" how about the leader of the opposition party?

Is your opinion that it's ok to be despotic if the people have an ok life? (just so long as they don't speak out against the government.)

To boot, we're going to end up giving it back. Was the war right? You'll get a million different viewpoints on that. The key difference is that someday, Iraq will be returned completely to the Iraqi people. I think the entire world will agree that the sooner that happens successfully, the better off everyone will be.

And yes I do want Russia to gain back, not its former teritories but its former glory and power. One sided world domination is never a good thing...

To boot, we're going to end up giving it back. Was the war right? You'll get a million different viewpoints on that. The key difference is that someday, Iraq will be returned completely to the Iraqi people. I think the entire world will agree that the sooner that happens successfully, the better off everyone will be.

 

It might be as soon as December. I don't believe any deal has been reached and the UN mandate ends in December.

While I want Russia to gain back it's rule by the people instead of having it's elections rigged.

As for a one sided world domination... no such thing exists.

Yes, if its a qulity life then there is no issue in my eyes. (just so long as they don't speak out against the government I dont see Russia getting to that point, as I mentioned there are plenty of anti-governemt papers all over Russia.)

 

 Rigged? Could have been, but in the same time I know that Putin would have had no issues winning the elections.
