is this really even the question ill go even as far to say the 360 will sell 3/2 or 2/1 over the Ps3. I mean everyone here in the us when they think madden they think 360 its just the way it is

If I were EA i'd be a bit worried about Madden:

Sales this year are likely going to be within ~10% of last year for week one. Thats not good given that it costs more to develop than ever. If sales are down slightly its even more worrying.

Something like 360-PS3-Wii-PS2-PSP-DS is what I'd expect. My hunch is if you divide Madden week one sales into 16 parts, the number of parts for 360 would be maybe 6, PS3 would get 3.5, Wii 2.5, PS2 2, PSP 1, DS 1.

Madden on the 360 will outsell Madden on the other consoles. The only system that could possibly have a chance would be the PS2 version; however, like somebody said earlier the #s for Madden on the 360 keep increasing every year and the #s for the PS2 version drop every year.

360 version

360. Only other version that has the potential would be the Wii version. Ps2 is fading too much and a PS3 game isn't going to sell better in American than the same 360 version. AT least not right now. Wii has the potential to sell as much if not more than the 360 version due to userbase and being a much bigger mainstream console... however its unlikely the Wii version will sell more than 360 version. Just too many ifs ya know. More than likely Wii and PS3 versions will sell around the same and 360 will be about half a million to a million higher.

I own a PS3 and picked up the PS3 version this year now that they're finally equal (they're visually identical and both run at 720p60fps) but I have no doubt whatsoever that the 360 version will trounce it thoroughly when it comes to sales.

Not anymore it's not. But the fact that this was the case the previous two years will certainly influence buying decisions amongst those who own both consoles.

Everyone's forgetting the Xbox 1 version. :)
