Forums - General - Oh noz! I chopz my hair off!

For the last 3 years I refused to get a haircut.  I finally chopped my hairs off, all by myself.  My hair was about as long as my wifes and easily 16 inches in a ponytail. :(  Now it's uber short.  I will get pics soon.  I'm no longer a hippy :(  I'll never be able to grow my hair long again as well.  For I am balding. :P  *cries*

Right before I got to highschool, back in 94, I started growing my hair out, only getting the ends trimmed every once in a while.

At its longest it was right about my waist. I eventually trimmed it up to about pec length, but I didn't cut it until 2005.

After I cut my hair I was like.... holy shit, why didn't I cut it earlier. No more accidentally chewing on hair while eating or sleeping, doesn't take forever to shampoo/condition in the shower, no more spending 8 minutes trying to blow dry all of it (especially in winter).

I remember when I was going to VT, walking across the drill field to class on campus during the winter resulted in frozen pony tail if I didn't have time to dry it before class (which always happened with 8AM Organic Chem).

You'll be so much happier with short hair, in a week or two you'll remember the awesomeness of low-maintenance.

dont cut your cut man, um well next time dont cut your hair man

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

your face is scary!!

I'm a man, deal with it. :P

I did the same thing recently, I didn't get mine cut properly for about 3 years, just trimmed. I had it chopped off... it was the saddest day of my life
