Not so much what you said....when I read the title I was like Rumor: Confirmed.....What???. But hey, I appreciate the information and hope that it refers to a multi-plat sequel. We shall see.

Hopefully they add some multi-player online aspects because playing Dead Rising with buddies would we sweeet.

Even at 39.99 as a budget title... for a game millions have played its too much. Unless it sells for 19.99 I don't see the point as thats howmuch you can pick it up for xbox 360 for.

Rumor: Dead Rising confirmed for PS3

Capcom has gone on record today saying that Dead Rising for PS3 is possible. "I'm absolutely sure that it may happen," stated one unnamed source inside Capcom. "I can confirm today that this is not impossible."

Asked whether this might happen, Capcom's senior VP of market, Soichi Watada, would did not deny anything, which confirms that this rumor may be likely. "It's possible that it absolutely will happen," said our source, "I can confirm that this rumor does indeed exist."

I think that he's talking about Dead Rising 2. When DMC 4 was announced as multi plat (and that capcom would be multi plat from now on) they said that they would not go back and port Dead Rising and Lost Planet but future releases would be multi plat, AKA sequels. Since Lost Planet was ported to the PS3, it wouldve made sense to announce Dead Rising being ported to PS3 also, but since they didn't, I don't think they are going to announce a port of a 2 yr old game.
