i got my xbox 360 with halo 3 the day it was released (september 2007) i loved halo 3 online the only other game i got was assassins creed for the 360 .
and last june my 360 RRODed so i sold all my xbox parts except the console and hardrive for like 130$ and got a 399$ playstation 3 and gta4 ...im not realy plzed with the game lineup for the ps3 but i feel its more reliable, i never turn it off and i dont hear a whisper from ........but god do i miss halo 3 online!!
as for my 360 , im gonna chainsaw it in half and post it on youtube ...im gonna keep the hard drive cuz i got alot of family guy episodes on it and ALOOOTTTA arcade games plus all six new maps for halo3 (juss in case i feel the urge to buy the 199.99 xbox arcade this september)

People,come on... even if your warranty expires(europe),you can fix it using the Xclamps to fix it. If your in US,your lucky,you can send it to MS. Now,the Falcon 360 was released in september-october 2007 and it does not rrod because they have shrunk the CPU and GPU to 65 and 80nm,added an extra cooler on the GPU and fixed it in place with a special glue ATI made.

Jasper will have a 65nm GPU,wich is even better.Thay have fixed the problem,you can fix the problem if you don`t want to buy a new 360,but throwing it away...come on,people.

Your friend wasn't awesome enough to own a 360. If he hadn't thrown it away, it was going to leave him anyway. Tell him even a DS with a broken hinge and a scratched touch screen fetches $50 at Gamestop. All he did was toss $$$ in the garbage. What a waste.
