Forums - Gaming - Game Informer: Too Human Review! 6.5

do you guys think if the game gets overall bad revues it will affect the promised trilogy?

I highly doubt the game is this bad.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

well on the other side i did not find the demo to be so exciting. Very repititive. And after so many years in development i expected better graphics and maybe higher polygon count in many places. Generally speaking it is not good for a game to be so many years in development and time and time again to surface rumours about cancelation. I think Silicon Graphics tried to combine the different pieces over the years of the development team in a desperate move to release the game in some form.

So what ? A Greek magazine gave it a 9.3 and now the average score is 7.9

I just gave the demo a shot (been on vacation) and the game's a mixed bag. The worst is the combat and camera... it basically boils down to repeating the same 4 combat movements (which are the same for all character classes) over and over to build up the combo meter which you deplete using your class special skills (of which there aren't that many to begin with, most of the skills are passives).

I'll give it another run today but I'm feeling unlike Bioware's Mass Effect they didn't get the balance right between the action and the rpg sides of combat.

To be honest, I really enjoy roguelikes and was so looking forward to Too Human turning decent enough.

This is more than wrong. You have to turn on the "advanced combat" option and it will be a complete other game.

Also why is there no review on their site ? http://www.gameinformer.com/games/info/info.htm?CS_pid=200169

I have seen a trailer and it looks great.

Well I didn't know what to expect overall the game demo was for me a mixed feeling of thing that I liked and disliked but hey that was a demo could be that they made some changes;..I wait for other reviews.

I think we can expect a PS3 version spring 09 , wouldn't want to put 10 years to waste eh.

Hope you know, that this is impossible. I'll give you a hint: "Publisher = Microsoft"

Oh well I guess the game won't recover it's development costs , I don't think it would really make a difference to PS3 owners wether or not it was on the console.
