I see your reasoning. I think the whole purpose that it's even an issue is the disspointment level. Fanboys on one side or another love when the other side is dissapointed. That's why a hype to reality comparison is necessary. Was Too Human ever very hyped, oh yes, but that hype died down gradually, and now it barely exists. Hype for Haze was actually at its heigth when the IGN review came out and burst the bubble. PS3 fans have been very unlucky this gen with surprise dissapointing announcements.
I simply think a lot of PS3 fans want this to be the sort of dissapointment they took with Haze. It's obviously not, though.
Of course, these "gotcha" moments and the rubbing in of dissapointment is very childish and competitive, but then again, what is fanboyism except the very embodiment of childishness and competition.
