I indirectly told the author exactly that. It's not real clear exactly what is being predicted; active install base, shipped units, etc...

I thought we were past the point where "PS3 will magically catch Wii sales" articles could still be written. No? Sorry to see that. At least the date of the mythical Sony surge continues to recede endlessly into the future. 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011!

What trends are that? The "Ps3 wont even reach 5 mil at years end" then reaching 8.5mil?
Or the fact that it's on it's way to 20 mil now in its 2nd year.
