Forums - Nintendo - Metroid Prime 3 delayed...

I didn't realize they had even set an exact date...

I guess I need to pay more attention to things. It gets aggravating though, since dates are change so often. I guess that's why I stopped paying attention to them.

So, I'm back to not paying attention to dates! What a productive post.

I know Gamestop had set a date but don't know if that was official.  And even if it actually was "delayed", it's a week.  Who cares.

Doesn't affect me. Still getting it Sept 8.

I bet they need an extra week for online-multiplayer, JK they will re-de the graphics again, but I really don´t care what they do as long as the controlls are good, if the controlls are weak we Nintendites will never hear the end of how FTP don´t work on the Wii and that it alienates core gamers, on the other hand if the controlls rock we will hear that the Wii trains killers for shooting, we just can´t win this, oh well, everyone having fun gaming is the winner....unless they play E.T. on atari

and good luck with your med. test eab, I guess your playing lots of Trauma Centre right now :)

A week delay is not for graphics re-hauling or multiplayer tweaking...just one week is probably for production reasons.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

^^ or they read our thread about the cover art and think that needs to be redone (I use to much sarcasm latly I know), but hey, this was going to be a launch title so one week is really nothing much considering that they anounced the date a while ago, so for Nintendo this is a small delay, for a lot of other companies this would mean that they will anounce a new date one week later, not release the game (Duke Nukem Fornever, C&C Tiberium Sun....) but I trust the almighty N, if they want a week give them a week, hell give them a month if it makes the game better, if it didn´t come this year or was a half baked game then I´d be angry, but Nintendo wouldn´t do that ...................would they ??? .......ok now I´m nervous

...one week. It's now due on Aug. 27 in North America, rather than the 20th.

A dagger through my heart, Nintendo.  Via Joystiq, this was mentioned in the same press release announcing Zelda: PH's launch date. A one week delay seems rather odd - I've almost gotten used to seeing games slip by months at a time.

Nintendo is doing alot better with releases. Twilight princess was supposed to come out in early 2005 originally, LOL.

Oh, yea. That was the first Wii game I bought ^^

meh I guess a week isn't so bad. I mean originally it was supposed to be a launch title.

Has there been a Europe/Australian release date set yet?

If we don't get it by the start of November, there will be riots...

Gesta Non Verba

Nocturnal is helping companies get cheaper game ratings in Australia:

Game Assessment website

Wii code: 2263 4706 2910 1099

It's definitely not a biggie. The game is almost done.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
