yea i agree too...i find the sixaxis more comfortable than the 360 controller but thats just my opinion...

I like the 360 controller because it fits in my hands. The playstation controllers were always too small and too light and my thumbs always bumped together. I don't know if I could handle the sixaxis as it is lighter than previous PS controllers.

I'd love to try this controller out

Too bad sony didn't have enough balls to stick with it. It looks like it might have been very comfortable, and large enough to actually fit in my hand.

Oh well, heres hoping to a sixaxis redesign....

I really don't think that was going to be the controller. I think it was a decoy! Why would you change the icon of the playstation. You think of the PS you think controller :D imo

Random fact; Originally it was proposed to put an analog stick in place of the d-pad on the PS1 controller. However, the people at sony, namely good ole ken, felt this would disrupt the symmetry of the controller and went against it. Supposedly Sony has been reluctant to redesign the controller partially because of how iconic it has become.

Also, Sony tried out all sorts of screwey stick placments early on like by the shoulder buttons.

looks pretty shoddy. Nevertheless, i think its pretty unimaginative that theyve used the same controller for 3 consoles. It just annoys me

sixaxis is pretty dam good... doesnt make any sense to stick with something that is untested and the majority of ps2 owners dont. want...... its good sony had enough balls to stick with the design... because i know they were dancing around the idea of changing it... i for one would not have gotten a ps3 if they went with the boomerang... i do wish that they would have kept that silver metallic color though...
