Forums - Nintendo - What will Nintendo do without Miamoto?

What will Nintendo do without Miyamoto? I mean it seems that they relay on him too much… not just Nintendo but the fans as well. When was the last time someone other at Nintendo came up with a new idea? Ore is it that every new idea that is created gets the Miyamoto stamp on it just so that people will think it has too be grate and then buy it?

I will search fore the grate minds at Nindento and add them and there work just too see how much other people other then Miyamoto has done.

Meanwhile discuss!!

He is the producer of this many games

Don’t take it as 100% accurate someone might have played around with it, it is Wiki after all

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

All he has been for the past 10 years is a Producer and sometimes Co-director. I don't think they rely too much on him at all. Don't get me wrong, the guy is a genius, and has had many killer ideas in the past 5 years, but it's not the way it was 15 - 20 years ago.

They'll just force some interns to take shrooms and see which one comes up with the best concepts...

Seriously:

I'd like to note, that Miyamoto has been receiving credit for developing games that he probably wasn't the point man on for years... They put his name on it, and the fanboys love it. (Me included)

There are lots of other talented people at Nintendo.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Nintendo has many other smart and creative people besides him.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

I think Nintendo will do pretty well without him(well not if he dies before teaching his 13 disciples how to make games).

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

At the moment he's always producer or whatever, as everyone says, there have been lots of other brilliant people working on all his recent games. Whilst he may over time become less involved in the process, you mark my words, even after he officially retires he'll still be on the phone to the folks at N EAD to give them some advice and ideas

they'll clone him, since they have no one that can replace him.

lol i like the bold part of your sig, just the fact that the Wii's specs would even be compared to the xbox is a joke

we will just have to see when he leaves, most of the teams that make games for nintendo rely on his input and advice, but they probably learned enough from him by now, the only thing we don't know is if they are as creative as him, because nintendo will miss his creative side more.
