Forums - Microsoft - hmm.... where is Microsoft's Darwin/Newton motion sensor???

there was such a big talk about it. Some even thought it was confirmed base on the BK3's in-game video.

Where is it now? Is it a completely false rumour? Or just that Microsoft is not ready to release it just yet.

and for that matter. What is Microsoft going to do with Halo War's control?

Hopefully it doesn't exist. Theres not a single part of me that doesn't want Motion control in out quality games for the 360. It works in Wii minigames, but I couldn't play Gears of War with a wiimote.

As for Halo Wars control, what about it?

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

They already have too many copies this year they have too keep some fore later ;)

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

I'm not convinced it doesn't exist still - at least in prototype - but perhaps it'll never be released or maybe they are holding it back until a library of games are available that support it instead of one.

I think it’s too late anyway its not going too do much good. It’s better if they wait until next gen its, what 3-4 more years left?

Maybe it will be for the next gen xbox?

Halo War will used 360 pad. From E3 preview and hand on they all said the control scheme work really good.

The problem with RTS genre is that they are all design for PC and then port to console. Halo War is built for console so may be they are going to get it right. Much like how Halo was FPS for console or Civ Rev is design for console first and foremost.

I really enjoy RTS and would like nothing more to play it on big screen. I bought most of the RTS that came out for 360 so far but end up trading them because the I could never get used to the control scheme. Universe at War was one of the better one but the poor AI and technical eventually turn me off from finishing it.

It's out there... I suspect it will be part of a holiday bundle. The Wii has shown entirely too much success with the Wiimote for MS not to give it a go.

@shadowblind -- I couldn't disagree more... I have a Wii and Redsteel showed some real promise. Assuming Microsoft learned from Nintendo's mistake in using only accelerometers, they could be putting together a fantastic device for interacting. Shooters, Platformers, RTS, etc. They can all benefit from ACCURATE and STABLE 1:1 motion controls.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

it could be early planning for the 720. They would want developers to have access to the controller atleast 18-24 months prior to the launch of any new console so maybe this is looking towards a christmas 2010 launch.

I believe this controller was either just a rumour or a prank. I do not believe it even exists.
