Bikes. I like the bikes more.

its crazy online, I had 9200vr points you can lose 250 points in one race.

anyway I prefer a bike now.

Karts were holding me back

I use Karts, sadly bikes seems to be better since pretty much 75% of everyone I meet online use them.

I tend to use bikes for the speed but I think the karts look better.

Karts.  I am a traditionalist.

Depends. If you want speed like time trials go for the bike, if you want to be mean go for the karts and keep voting for tracks where you can knock people off. Any time I'm in a kart I always dart for whoever is near me in a bike or smaller kart and knock them off the track.

Also, if you get caught in a wheelie you're hosed.

Mario Kart isn't about speed, it's about who is better at being cruel to the other players.

But without speed, you'll never reach the players in order to throw them out ;)

Karts because I'm an endurance type of player. Bikes take a while to accelerate in my experience.
