I like using bikes, they seem faster to me.

Same here I'm always using the standard bike. Sometimes I use the nostalgia kart.

I prefer bikes because they go faster! The big problem is that karts are no longer interesting. So the game can be called mario bike wii!

 There's no question that bikes are far far superior.  In fact the imbalance is so incredible I don't know how Nintendo didn't realise that was going to be the case.  I have only come across 1 extremely good player that uses a kart and that was the guy in Friday's American GP that had 9999 points.  But he is 1 single good player using a kart amongst over 100 good players I have come across.  That tells you just how much of an advantage bikes have.  In fact if that guy could switch to using bikes he would probably be almost unbeatable (blue shell aside).  So my advice to everyone here - if you want to become a pro at this game then pick a bike that suits you and stick to that.  Oh and ditch the Wii Wheel as well.

I like the Wii Wheel a lot, and found that after a while I can be very precise with it. As someone already said, bikes suck with the Wheel, so I always stick to karts.

I just wish there was an option to play against karts only online.

PS: It's fun to throw bikes off the track in Rainbow Road :P
