the thing is that it works most of the time, and the occasionally it freezes and that message comes up, but it has worked fine for hours without any issues, but then occassionally it pops up. Maybe by avoiding that dungeon I can avoid it happening in the future. I can see no damage on the disc

I've had this happen to my xbox 360, the answer for me was simple. My xbox 360 simply wasn't getting enough power. Apparently having it plugged into a extension cord or a splitter results in this. I plugged it directly into the wall and it worked fine ever since I gave it free to my brother and bought a elite. Still works as far as I am aware.

really?  ive never heard of that before....it is very interesting.   ill have to try that if i come across a game that gives me issues.
